OTT Movies Review
Hello readers and welcome back after Diwali. Since power pack entertainers are on the OTT platforms, here we review two of them:
With the OTT platforms being the new normal although the Cinema halls are looking forward to open, OTT platforms have kept people entertained. From the director of one of the best web-series Scam: 1992, Hansal Mehta brings audience an entertainer Starring Raj Kumar Rao and Nurshat bharucha, Chhalaang.
The movie is ploted quite simple storyline with Raj Kumar Rao as montu in Leading role who is shown as an uninterested teacher at first but table turns when the school appoints a new PTI. The movie revolves around the sports competition between two teams. Produced by Ajay Devgun and a good set of co-actors, Movie is a Good entertainer for a one-time watch as there is a bit of comedy with a little touch of romance.
I rate the movie 8/10, as Raj Kumar Rao is a great actor who always gets audience relate to him with his simplicity and natural performance.
Akshay Kumar Starrer Laxmi received many good and bad reviews. Akshay kumar delivers a good social message through this moive. The Plot starts with Akshay Kumar, who dosent belives in ghosts at all and is haunted by the ghost of Laxmi (Sharad Kelkar), A trans-gender who initially suffered the society being a trans-gender and later Laxmi’s complete family killed by a goon for land property.
Sharad Kelkar’s acting is marvellous throughout the movie, And Akshay is always a perfectionist. The other co- stars include Kiara Advani and Ashwini kalsekar, all acted their part very well in the movie.
On a personal note to me, I expected a scientific approach to the concept of ghosts and evil-spirits, but anyway that was not the primary goal of making this movie. Other than that, movie is nice to watch and delivers a good social message as well.
I rate 8/10 for sharad Kelkar and Akshay kumar’s great performance.
